Ronald McDonald doesn’t just do fast food. He also has homes where families with sick children can stay while their children are in the Hospital. We took a group of very talented illustrators to share their talents and make the families smile. Families could make requests for illustrations. Our artists were so generous with their time and their talents.

We had a lot of fun with the Strawberry Shortcake, the Koala “draw-off,” and the many requests for Frozen and video game characters.
Here are the results:

We met some amazing families.

One family was able to hold their twin baby girls for the first time yesterday. They had been born in March at under 2 pounds each and are finally getting big enough to be held.
Another young lady named Megan had a heart transplant a few years ago, but “Thumper,” her heart is having problems. She will go in next week to see if she needs another transplant.
One young girl had been looking forward to meeting our artists, but was called back to the hospital moments before they arrived.
